Sing Christmas was held Upstairz at the White Hart Hotel.

There was a live link to BBC Radio Devon Local Carol Event. Rev John Henry was in chage of proceedings. There were presents for the oldest and youngest people there, the youngest being Taylor Hutchings at 3½ months and the eldest was 87 years old.

A buffet was provided after by Jon and Tammy Hutchings and the whole event had a lovely family atmosphere.

Sing Christmas 2008

Holsworthy Late Night Shopping was held on 10th December 2008

It was very busy this year with a lot of people turning out for the event
which, apart from the shops staying open late, features an appearance of Father Christmas with gifts for the
children (organised by Holsworthy Lions Club) a turnout by the Town Band and also a presence of Holsworthy Scouts, Cubs and Beavers singing Campfire Songs in the square.

The Afternoon procession commenced at 3.05pm
