The Holsworthy Lions annual Speed Pool Competition was held on Saturday 18th April. There were entries from a lot of local pubs and a total of £1084 was raised on the night.
Highest Sponsorship was raised by the Village Inn. Highest Team Score went to the Junction Inn. Highest Individual Score went Tom Schiller at the Old Market Inn with 96 balls. Highest Lady Score went Emma Anderson at the Old Market Inn with 56 balls. On the left is Kenny playing for the Golden Fleece Photos here were taken at The White Hart, Crown and Sceptre, Golden Fleece and the Old Market Inn.
The annual Models and Collectors Exhibition was held at the Community College on Sunday 29th March.
It was organised by Bill Dymond and members of the vintage rally commitee
There was a large and varied selection of exhibits on display
Judging was done by the town Mayor,Mr David Smith, The Portreeve,Major Johns, and the Deputy Mayor, Mrs Becky Buckingham. Unfortunately I don’t have a list of the winners at present.
